First solid Foods!

Over the last month we have tried rice cereal again and again. We have tried all the little "tricks" to make him like it and it just wasn't working. He didn't really get in to it and eat. So we decided on Monday to try carrots. OH MY GOSH! The kid LOVED IT! He ate and ate and ate. It was like he had been eating solid foods his entire life! He would open his Mouth and actually get mad because I was not going fast enough! :O I was shocked. Since the carrots were going so great, this morning we tried peas. Jett actually gaged himself. I thought it was a fluke so I gave him another bite and he gaged! ... Thinking maybe he wasn't feeling eat "real" foods I gave him one bite of carrots to see... What did he do?? Ate and ate and ate. I do believe we have a little picky eater... Anywho I am so excited we are at this phase. It is fun! His facial expressions while eating are priceless and some of my favorite pictures are of him eating new things! So here are the pictures! And then just some from the past few days!! Enjoy-

Family Addition!

Well... We adopted a..... CAT! Growing up Matthew and I both had cats- so it was only fitting we adopt one for Jett to grow up with!! He is a little boy who is around 3-4 months old. (Jett's age!!) we decided on the name Bogey! :) he's so cute and fun. The dogs are getting use to him. They are a little to much to fast I think ha... Jett on the other hand loves him! He sits and watches him and laughs!! It's so sweet. As of now he is inside but the plan is to get him use to us and learn that this is his home, then let him go outside! So here are pictures of him!! I added some cute recent ones of Jetton too! :)

Hot springs

This week was busy but SO fun!! My sisters in-laws have a time share in hot springs and weren't able to use it... So my sister invited me and little man to hang out with her and Olivia for a few days! We toured the bath house, shopped down town, went to Garvan Gardens and just hung out around the pool! It was a lot of fun!! Yesterday Jetton started pulling at his ears and I'm afraid he might have an ear infection... :( so we go to the dr. First thing in the morning but until then we are just snuggling and being lazy... :)

Rice cereal!!

Tonight was a BIG night!! I made some rice cereal.. It's actually disgusting... (I've decided if Jett's going to eat something, I should try it) and we let Jett "eat" it. It was so fun/sad/entertaining haha! He was having a great time at first playing with it in his mouth, hands and pretty my h anywhere he could get it. Then he got really hungry and he couldn't figure out the concept of swallowing it. So I put it away and he nursed. As small and silly as giving rice cereal to a baby is.. It was a huge moment for Matthew and I. We videoed the whole thing and took pictures. Thank goodness Carlos was here to take the pictures because Matthew videoed and I fed Jett. We are SUCH new parents! I can't help it. I feel like I need to document every little milestone!! This is the first of many attempts of trying to eat for
Mr. Jetton! I'm so excited he is growing and we get to teach him new things but it is all going WAY. TO. FAST. Anyways.. On to the way to adorable pictures!!

4 months old!

I'm a day late and so upset about this! I wanted to be sure and do it on the second of every month. But we were just SO busy yesterday. :( oh well. Little man is currently sitting beside me "talking" and telling me what to write haha!! He is so much more alert and talkative now days....

--4 Month Stats--
-he is in size 2 diapers. Next ones we buy will be size 3...
-Jett's wearing 3-6 AND 6-9 month clothes!! :O he's huge!
-I don't have an exact "dr.s weight" but after weighing myself and then me with him he weighs 15.8 lbs.
-he talks. A lot! When he figures out words I don't think we will ever get him to stop!
-he likes the pool!!
-he loves to be outside
-the carseat isn't as fun anymore and he will fuss a little in it.
-the swing is still fun but he giggles and coos a lot on his playmate where he can play with toys!
-he has really gotten into toys lately!!
-he showers a lot with us and REALLY likes it!
-he tracks things with his eyes and will laugh or pout depending on his mood!
-he makes great facial expressions! And will laugh and talk back to you when you talk to him.
-loves sitting in his bumbo!
-his hands apparently taste amazing! They are always in his mouth...
-he still sleeps good!! (such a blessing)
-he loves for you to sing to him!! It's fun but I only do it if nobody is around.
-and he still hates tummy time..

These are all I can think of right now! I will post more if I remember anything major!! And the better pics will come
