2012 County Fair

I know... He really can't do much but I really wanted to take Jett to his first parade and then to the fair! To my surprise he LOVED both! The parade was really long (about an hour) but he sat there and watched the entire thing! He loved the noise and movement!! He didn't fuss or really even make a noise until it was over. :) After that wonderful experience we decided to take him to the fair!! Once again he loved it! The lights on the ride were a huge hit! E would just watch them.. We were also outside, which is his favorite. We walked through the inside and he got stickers and tons of attention at all the booths!! From there we went to the barn... I always loved this part because I am such an animal lover... And guess what?! So did Jett!! It melted my heart. He just smiled and watched all of the animals! It was a hit! I am so glad we did this and I can't wait to watch him grown and learn each time we go! It will definitely be a new tradition!! :)

Why can't life slow down?!

Let me just start off with, I am so happy! Little man is just growing and changing ever day. I look forward to waking up to his smiles and spending the day with him. I am so in love! :) we have been going 90 to nothing. We have gone to fayetteville to see aunt bay! We haw watched football games. I recently started training for a 5k (gotta start somewhere) and Jett LOVES being outside in the stroller. He has started fighting sleep.. At bedtime and Nap time.. This had been an interesting challenge but we will get through it. He sits so well and will lunge forward. It almost seems like he is trying to crawl! Exciting. :):) he talks all the time! E will even reach for you. It just melts your heart. He also has 2 teeth!!! I will post again soon... For now here are some pictures though! Oh yeah! I forgot to mention-- I decided on a birthday theme for his first birthday! Y'all be ready! It will be so cute and FUN!! :D

7 Months Old!

Let's all hit the pause button and slow down for a little while. I feel like I haven't even been able to breath. We have been way busy. Little man is growing like a weed!! :)


7 month stats

-he is in 6-12 and 9-12 month clothes!
-size 3 diapers
-he weighs 18.15 lbs.
-he officially just cut his first tooth
-he can sit up and roll over (the rolling doesn't happen often. He's "lazy")
-he loves his swing still!!
-he loves to jump in his jump up and his baby Einstein thing
-he loves his walker at Lolly and poppas
-he LOVES food. All types
-he is interested in anything Matthew and I have.
-phones are the best toys ever according to him
-he loves music and has started recently moving to it.
-he plays patti cake!!
-he's talking a lot more
-anything outside is just great
-he enjoys bath time way to much!
-be doesn't like laying down really any more
-the car isn't as fun as it use to be... He gets tired of it way to easy
-he can scoot. Not crawl or even roll to where he wants. He just scoots...
-toys are wonderful and he loves them even more if they make noise or
Light up.


That's about all I can come up with now but he has a cold and isn't feeling great so I'm going to go cuddle
