Memorial Day weekend-

We had the best weekend ever! Jett had a lot of new firsts!! :) those are my favorites! Friday night me and Matthew had a date night and Nikki, Adam, Makenna, and Maddox babysat for us! Jett loved it! We got picture updates (my favorite). He was passed out when we got there because he had so much fun! Then Saturday we had a bunch of friends over to swim and hang out! Jett loved the pool! It made me so happy! We will spend most of the summer in the water.. On Sunday Matthew had an open house so Jett and I decided to go to the lake and see my family. We went out on the boat. Once again Jett LOVED it. He slept and played the whole day. It was so nice and relaxing. Then on Monday, we had a lazy day with daddy.. No matter how busy we are or how much fun we have- these are my favorite days. :) I hope you all had as good of a weekend as we did!!

Parties!

So two weekends ago we had a surprise party for my dads 50th birthday! It was so fun. The family came in and dads friends all came. It was such a great time! I love throwing parties. :) since all the family was in my sister decided it would be a great time for Olivia's first birthday party. So it was literally a weekend full of parties. I wouldn't have it any other way. It was a blast!! We had dads party at Teresa's house overlooking the lake. It was beautiful. Eric grilled (the food was amazing) and we all just hung out. Olivia has always had a love for her caterpillar toy. So it was only fitting to have her party themed The Very Hinger Caterpillar. It was so cute. Allison had all kinds of themed activities and foods. Olivia loved cake too! It was to cute!!

Mothers day 2012

Sorry this is so late! We have been busy-- my first mothers day was amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better day. Matthew changed almost all of the dirty diapers!! :) that is not all he did. He (and Jett) started me a charm bracelet! I couldn't ask for a sweeter husband. We had breakfast with my mom (Gigi) and then we had a late lunch with Matthews entire family! I love holidays. They are do family filled and fun! After lunch we came home to hang out and have some family time. Then we went to my dads and saw Teresa (tutu) we are so pleased to have so many women in our life that mean so much to all three of us! I didn't get as many pictures as I'd like but oh well... Here are the ones I did get!!! :) side note-- he is starting to like toys! He loves his giraffe and a zebra toy. Then the Picture in his pjs is from this morning! Happy Saturday!!

Happy Saturday!

Little man has had a busy but fun week! However he's got a cold so he's been a little fussy and sleepy. He's still such a good baby though! Lindsey shock kept him on Sunday. This was the first time a non family member has kept him! I knew he was in good hands though and we got numerous pictures of a smiley happy boy while we were gone! :) we hung out over at aunt Allison's and played with Olivia at the beginning of the week. Thursday was Olivia's first birthday! Oh how time flies-- we went to little rock and spent the day at the museum of discovery! That was so much fun. Olivia is such a big girl and played with everything. Yesterday I took Jett to the dr. Because he was just acting different and I was worried. That's when the doctor said he had a cold and hopefully he will just get rid of it on his own.. But if he's not feeling better in a few days we have to go back... He did weigh 13 lbs 14oz though! He's a chunk. :) oh one major thing that has started over the last week is that little man is LAUGHING! This is by far the cutest thing I've ever witnessed. Hopefully I can post the video of Matthew and him!! Happy Saturday hope you all have a great mothers day. I'm pretty excited about my first one I must say!

Toad Suck Daze and Stuck on a Truck 2012

Well Toad Suck has come and gone.. It was a lot of fun being able to take Jett to his first ever Toad Suck Daze Festival! :) It was even more fun because Daddy, (Matt) was Stuck On A Truck. That is a competition put on by Centennial Bank. 25 Contestants are drawn over a few weeks and they all stand around with at least one hand always on the truck. It can go on for days. The contestants get a 5 minute break every hour and a 15 minute break ever six hours. It was so incredibly hot this year.. The winner stood on the truck for 77 hours.. Thats over 3 days! Matthew made it for 28 hours.. his feet were hurting him to badly. But we are ok with that- we would rather him be at home hanging out with us anyways.. :) Jetton did SO good. Like I said before, it was soo hot. But Jett hung out and slept in his stroller. Aunt Allison kept him for a long time on the first day, but then the second day he spent the whole time with me out there! We went every day and walked around and ATE! Haha.. You always have to have lemonade and a corn dog.. Also a frozen chocolate covered banana. :)

3 months old!

Wow. Time flies!! It makes me do excited with each new day and the things Jetton is learning, but it also makes me sad how fast it is going. He has grown so much over this last month! It's amazing. It's late and we have stuck on a truck starting in the morning (more on that later) so this is a short post from the phone... But at least I'm doing it!!

3 month stats

-he is wearing 3-6 month clothes. Has been for about a week. Some are kind of big, but 0-3 are to small.. :(
-talks a lot in the morning and at night! It is so sweet!!
-still goes to bed around 12... He typically sleeps until 5-530 and goes right back to sleep after eating until 9ish so I'll take it! :) (I better knock on wood)
-he smiles constantly!
-still loves showers and baths!!
-makes great contact and loves to look at new things
-smiles and coos when he recognizes you. (this will melt your heart, trust me)
-stays awake a lot know and "plays"
-his eyes are definitely BLUE
-when clean his hair is a redish blind. Haha
-he likes the dogs. He just watches them!!
-his head control is SO good.
-he can sit in his bumbo now!!
-tummy time is a no go. He doesn't care much for it and will fall asleep. :/
-he had his first ear infection and antibiotic during this month.
-the doctor also diagnosed him with reflux.....
-he is in size 2 diapers still
-he enjoys music. Even if you just make up a song to sing to him!
-he LOVES his daddy. :)
-he is so much better with his paci but still really likes and prefers his hands!
-he has started gripping things like blankets and holding onto them
-he pulls things up around his face all the time!
-he sleeps in his bassinet(he's almost to big though)
-he really enjoys riding in the car and he almost always falls asleep



That's about all I can think of for now.. My brain is fried and I'm trying to think of a million things for Matt tomorrow. So I'll add more if I think of any.. Goodnight!
