3-2-13 13 Months Old-

Time is going by way. to. fast. I need my little baby who is only a month old back! LOL he is growing and changing and it is SO much fun but it is also a little bittersweet because it means he is no longer a "baby". I guess hes techinally not a baby, but to me he will ALWAYS be my baby. I can't help it.. He just will be. He is growing and changing SO much it amazes me each and every day. I cherish the good days and even the whiny days that exhaust me. They are all so stinking special!

-13 month Stats-

--He crawls ALL over the place. Seriously. EVERYWHERE!

--He says "bite, Bottle, paci, bye, hi, ball, bo, woof woof, Momma, dada"

--He points to things that he wants

--He can stand without help

--He LOVES bath time and really any type of water

--He enjoys being outside

--Starting to get tired of car rides

--He eats a ton! 3 meals a day, plus snacks!!

--We are down to 3 bottles a day.. WOAH

--He weighs around 22 lbs and somewhere around 27" long

--In size 4 diapers

--Wears 12-18 month clothes and size 3 or 4 shoes

--Balls are his favorite toy of all time! he Calls anything that is round a ball and wants it to play with!

--He has started playing with cars and trucks and makes a "vroom" noise while doing it. It is adorable.

--All animals are his friend. (at least he thinks so)

--He cruises on things like crazy. 

--He is offically sleeping through the night without a bottle! YAY!!

Thats all the main things I can think of. If anything else comes to me I will add it!!

This is as good as it's gonna get..... yikes lol

Valentines Day 2013

We had an amazing Valentines day! We passed out our presents to the special girls in our life.. Gigi, Lolli, Tutu, Cousin Olivia and of course our girlfriend, Kinleigh!! It was to fun going around and giving out our little goodies. We even recieved a few back in return!! :)

6 Months Old

wow.. I am SO behind! Let me just say we have been BUSY! Jetton is always awake and ready to play now! :) and I love EVER second of it!! It amazes me how much he has changed in the last couple of months.. I just need it to SLOW DOWN! Anyways  I'll get on to the fun stats of this month!!

6 Month Stats-

*Jett wears size 6-12 month or 9-12 month clothes! BIG BOY!

*size 3 diapers

*He is LOVING baby food. He eats lots of fruit and veggies and recently has started liking Mum-Mums

*He is on an all organic diet

*He still mainly nurses but we are giving him a little more formula

*I am pretty sure he is teething. 

*He can sit on his very own! He loves to play with toys while sitting up now!

*His johnny jump up and baby einstein play center are his FAVORITES!

*He loves to be outside and in water

*He has rolled over a few times but the Dr. told us he is "lazy" and content to not move around to much so there is no worry.

*Anything that lights up or makes noises (iPhones and Ipads) are the best thing ever to him! (just like his daddy)

*The cat and dogs are a lot of fun to play with and "love on" by that I mean squeezing until he can't squeeze any tighter..... :O

*His thumb is officially better than a paci. 

*He still sleeps in our room in his pack and play.. I just don't think I'm ready to let him go to his big boy room

*He is a very good traveler! and still enjoys sleeping in the carseat!

*He is finally recognizing his name!

*When you go to give him a kiss and make the "mmm" noise he opens his mouth and grabs your face.. it is so precious.

*He recently has started reaching for things!

*The drooling is OUT. OF. CONTROL. I think I change his outfit 2 or 3 times a day!

*He scoots.. I don't really now how or when it happens but I swear you look down and he is half way across the room!

*He weighs around 18 lbs. and is around 27" long (will update the exacts after the Dr. appt)

That is all I can think of right now! I PROMISE I will update the pictures as soon as I get them on my computer!!

Toad Suck Daze and Stuck on a Truck 2012

Well Toad Suck has come and gone.. It was a lot of fun being able to take Jett to his first ever Toad Suck Daze Festival! :) It was even more fun because Daddy, (Matt) was Stuck On A Truck. That is a competition put on by Centennial Bank. 25 Contestants are drawn over a few weeks and they all stand around with at least one hand always on the truck. It can go on for days. The contestants get a 5 minute break every hour and a 15 minute break ever six hours. It was so incredibly hot this year.. The winner stood on the truck for 77 hours.. Thats over 3 days! Matthew made it for 28 hours.. his feet were hurting him to badly. But we are ok with that- we would rather him be at home hanging out with us anyways.. :) Jetton did SO good. Like I said before, it was soo hot. But Jett hung out and slept in his stroller. Aunt Allison kept him for a long time on the first day, but then the second day he spent the whole time with me out there! We went every day and walked around and ATE! Haha.. You always have to have lemonade and a corn dog.. Also a frozen chocolate covered banana. :)

Our Life Lately

Ok.. So I will update ya'll on Jett!! Woo! A week ago Monday little man just wasn't seeming right. He was sleeping all the time (more than normal). He would sleep for 5 almost 6 hours at a time (every mom's dream) and would wake up and eat and then fall right back asleep. Even though the sleep was nice, I knew this wasn't normal. He sleeps a whole lot but this was just weird and he kind of had a cough going on. So we went to see Mrs. Karen and Jetton was diagnosed with his first ear infection. :( It was sad.. And she said he has reflux.. This really broke my heart. The cough is from the reflux but she said the good news is that he should out grow it by 6 months!! He is on his first antibiotic. Amoxicillin, it's pink and supposedly taste like bubble gum. I don't really get why they flavored it, its not like he knows what bubble gum taste like, but whatever. He hates it. So the flavor didn't even help... Even though he wasn't feeling great he was still SO smiley! He seriously is the sweetest baby ever. We went and had a birthday dinner with Aunt Angie at bone fish grill (YUM) Then Alicia, Patrick, Liam and Laken drove through and we met them for lunch at Stobys. This was the first time they got to see Jett! It was so special- We also went and did a dinner get together at Spencer and Xochilts! It was so fun! In other news... Cousin Olivia started WALKING! This is so cool and fun and unreal. She is getting SO BIG! Nothing else really big happened. Yesterday Nanny and Charlie came into town and got to visit with little man. We love seeing people!! It makes our days fun and interesting! Oh.. some other big news.. Jett is officially out growing his 0-3 month clothes!! :O This makes me happy and sad all at the same time!

Morning Smiles! Awhh.. 

This is a new thing! His head control has gotten a lot better and he can now sit up in his Bumbo seat for a little while at a time!

So.. We are getting him ready for summer and found this life vest for him so he can go out on the boats.. Haha he HATES it.. Look at that face!

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter! It was so exciting since it was Jett's FIRST real Holiday. I loved shopping for his Easter Basket and picking out an outfit for him to wear.. :) We woke up and went to the Methodist Church with my mom and then went over to her house to visit for a little bit. After that we went out to Mama's and had a big Easter lunch with Matt's whole family. After that we went to Dianas to do the scavenger hunt. This is SO neat- She has been doing this for Matt and Bailey for years. She is so creative and makes a hunt for each of them. The last 2 years Matthews has also been mine :) haha I LOVE it... Next year I'm sure ours will turn into Jett's which I am perfectly fine with. I hope that I am creative enough to do this for him at our house also... From there we came home to watch the Masters and see Bubba Watson win!! Then we went to my dad's house and had Easter dinner with dad, Allison, Olivia, Teresa and Chris. I forgot to mention that out at Mama's Jett got to meet Aaron for the first time! This was so exciting since we didn't think we were going to get to see Aaron until next month!! Now onto the pictures.

This was right after church! He was SO good and didn't cry or make a lot of noise during church. He just sat there and talked to himself and when we left he fell asleep haha

Last Couple of Days

Well we had a busy but good weekend! I'm going to include today (Monday) in this post... Just so ya know! On Saturday we really just hung out.. Matt didn't feel to good so we left him at home in bed resting and went out and did a little shopping. Then Bailey called and she was out at Mama's with Jonathan, Lauren, Uncle Stephan and Mama so we drove out there. I didn't realize it until we got there but it was Jett's fist visit out there!! :) Then Saturday night we got with my dad and sister, Eric, Olivia, and Chris to take family pictures! Teresa came too!! It was such a beautiful evening for this- Jetton did really good for about 30 minutes... then he got hungry and then sleepy soo that was short lived. I think we probably got some really good pictures though! Sunday, (Easter) will be in its own post next-- That brings us to today.. Jett had his 2 month check up.. and the dreaded SHOTS! :O I think they are harder on me than they are on him.. Dr. Lucas said he is doing GREAT! He weighs 12.05 lbs and is 23 inches long!! He has grown so much. He is 38% in weight, 41% in his length and his head is 78%.. Haha He did really good and didn't get to upset during the exam.. But he got hungry and they came in to do the shots and the oral one he did wonderfully for because he was hungry and just ate it right up. Then they stuck him in both of his legs at the same time.. His little face went white and then he just balled.. It Broke. My. Heart. I nursed him right after this to calm him down and he crashed. He slept for 5 hours.. woke up to eat and has been sleeping ever since. He will whimper out in his sleep every time he moves his legs. I think they are just sore.. But it is still so sad...

TWO Months Old!

ok.. I know I say this every time but OH MY GOSH.. JETT IS TWO MONTHS OLD! That blows my mind.. seriously. He is the most perfect baby I could ever ask for. I thank God daily for blessing me and Matt with him. How did I deserve to be this awesome little mans mommy.. It is so cool to think about that. But enough with that.. on to the fun stuff. Today daddy (Matt) was the first person whose name was drawn for Stuck on a Truck. I about died. Matthew had come home on Tuesday with a million little forms to fill out and put in the drawing.. We had started to fill them out but I really thought Matt was just kidding about this. He said he put about 5 or 10 in at the hair dressers and then he was going to fill out the rest and put them in so he could have a good chance of getting drawn. He never got around to it.. If any of you know him you shouldn't be surprised by that- But his name got drawn anyways.. we didn't even hear it or know we were suppose to be listening for it.. My dad actually was the first person to call and tell him he had 9 minutes to call in and say he wanted to do it! :0 So that is what we will be dong the first weekend of May!! :) Ya'll should all come out and help cheer him on!! (More on this later) We woke up and were being soo lazy and our doorbell rang and it was Aunt Sam!! What a Happy surprise for Jett's 2 month birthday!! We had a good little visit with her she was in town for a catering job! The rest of the day me and little man just hung out and did laundry and things around the house.. All in all it was a GREAT day.. I still can't believe he is 2 months old.. time flies! 

2 Month Stats

-Jetton is wearing size 1 diapers

-He is in 0-3 month size clothes...They are SO cute I might add

-He loves being outside.. It never fails to make him happy (day or night)

-Riding in the car is one of his favorite things also

-The bouncy seat is no longer a favorite... Sad day for mom

-He still really likes his swing (YAY!)

-Paci's work most of the time, but his fingers and hands are still his go to thing

-He really likes to take baths and showers! He relaxes so well

-he HATES, I repeat HATES getting lotion put on him!

-Being naked is awesome.. haha He cracks me up! My mom says I was just like that when I was little!

-He is obsessed with fans.. Moving or not moving. He will stare

-He sleeps best in his Nap Nanny

-He has started this new thing where he will not go to bed until midnight.. Ohhh goodness :0

-If you hold him under his arms and bounce him he is in Heaven

-He is a little piggy! He eats so much! His Dr. appt. isn't until the 9th so I will update weight and length then!!!

-His eyes seem to just keep getting lighter... :)

-His hair when clean sort of has a red tint.. Just like mine did!

-The stroller is a go to thing when we go anywhere because he really likes it!

-He does not like to lay in the floor (or anywhere for that matter) by himself. He much rather would be held!

-He SMILES all the time now!

-He makes this little puppy dog sound when he sleeps, I think he is laughing because he smiles and his whole body shakes! It's super cute

-He GRUNTS like crazy

-He has started cooing and ahhing "talking"... It will melt your heart!

-Music will calm him down! All types he really seems to love it!
