11 Months Old

Wow.. Words don't describe how I feel right now. My baby is about to be a year old. There is no way this is true... I SERIOUSLY need this to all slow down. While I am LOVING all of Jett's new tricks.. I can't help but be a little sad he's becoming more independent and "grown up". Now on to the fun things!!

11 month stats--

He LOVES music and dancing. It's adorable
He started crawling last month around the 5th and from there pulling up and cruising came right after. :O
He bounces and is into EVERYTHING
He can officially climb stairs (scary right)
Jett loves fruit and veggies! Makes me proud!!
We are working on giving up bottles but no where close yet!
He still really loves his paci
Uh oh is his favorite word. Ever.
He finds all kind of reasons to use it....
He can say momma, dada, bo and shakes his head no. And knows what "clap" means
Bo is what he calls all dogs.
He weighs about 22 lbs
Wears size 4 diapers
LOVES bathtime.
Loves playing with all types of balls! He can say that too! Anything shaped like a ball he wants. Lights, doorknobs anything
Still not sleeping through the night.. :(

Snow 2012

I mentioned in the last post about the snow we got on Christmas so now it's time for the snow pictures! Jett actually liked it! It was a blast but we didn't play in it to much for fear Jett would get to cold!! But we made snow cream and Jett LOVED it!!

Christmas 2012

To say this past Christmas was the best one I have ever had is an understatement. Watching Jett take in everything was so amazing. I just loved watching him. It was priceless. We had numerous celebrations. It started with a celebration the Sunday night before Christmas Eve with Skylar and Sarai Beth at Diana and Phil's! We ate a lot and played a fun game and opened presents. Jett got a little over whelmed and fussy but in the end loved his presents. We then went to my mom on Christmas Eve day. We all go together and ate and opened presents (which no entails putting things together). We hung out for a while then went our separate ways to our churches. We went to Jessie and treys and let Jett open his present from them and loaded up and went to Fellowship Bible. We love it there!! :):) not only was it Jett's first candle light service it was also Matthews! Something I alway did growing up and now I get to share with the two main men in my life! :) Jett of course passed out and slept through pretty much everything but it's the experience that counts... Right?? So after church we stopped and ate dinner with my dads family. We did matching Christmas pj pictures like we use to always do. Only this time instead of me and my cousins it was Jett and his cousin Olivia. (Melted my heart) my sister has those pictures so I am working on getting them. We then loaded up and went to spend the night out at Olas! Matthews grandmother! His whole family gets together out there! It was a blast. Jett opened some of his presents from me and Matthew and played the. We all went to bed. Woke up to Santa presents and stockings. His entire family came out and we did the big breakfast and presents. Christmas afternoon we went over to do my dads family Christmas (his two sisters and all my cousins come in on Christmas Day) well... It started sleeting... Then snow. Lots and lots of snow. It was crazy. It took my aunt and uncle from Fayetteville over 4 hours to get here and in the mean time my dads house lost power. :O we hung out and the power came on for maybe 30 minutes and back off... So no Christmas dinner and not to mention it was cold and dark at this point. We decided to take Jett home and we would do Christmas the day after with my dads family.... We get home and get in bed all comfy and warm only for our power to go out. WHAT?? The next morning we got up... No electricity. AND we couldn't get our car up the driveway from all of the SNOW! My dad came and picked us up in the jeep and we hung out ALL day at his house with the entire family and celebrated Christmas and ate an amazing meal by my nana. The power came back on later that day so all was well and we have a beautiful snow. Jett's first Christmas was also the first white Christmas Arkansas has seen in a long time! It made it that much more special! While Jett wasn't just super into opening presents this year he was into actually playing and looking at all of the "balls" on the tree! Haha I absolutely can not wait for next Christmas and all that will happen!!

Decorating and Christmas Pictures

If ya'll know me, you know how much I LOVE Christmas time! So it's no surprise my house was decorated the day after Halloween... :) Jett really liked watching me do all of it and watching the glitter and lights. He even "helped" me a little when it came to making wreaths for my  Nana. We also went with Aunt Al and Olivia to take some Santa Claus pictures.. They are PRICELESS! O helped decorate the Christmas tree and she was too much fun! I can't wait for next year when Jett is about that age.. :) My group of friends, Trey, Jessie, Zach and Taylor all go to Motley Tree Farm and actually cut down their Christmas Tree.. I decided this sounded fun so me and Jett tagged along! Not only do you cut down your tree, they have a petting farm and pig races. A shop with fudge and free hot chocolate. It was so much fun! We all decided to start our own new tradition and continue to do this! It was a blast!! And then on to my favorites.. Jessie came over and we had a Christmas photo shoot for our Christmas cards... These are the best pictures I have EVER seen!!! I hope ya'll all enjoy!

Thanksgiving 2012

The holiday season is my absolute favorite! Now that I have even more of a reason to celebrate (Jetton Hunter) I am even more EXCITED!  Holidays are always so busy... but filled with so much family and fun. This year we went to deer camp in the Middle of No Where... It is actually outside of Shirley... or maybe in it? Not really sure! haha but we road 4-wheelers and Rangers and played outside after eating our big lunch! Jett of course loved it! The kid was born to be outside!! After that we drove back home and had a huge dinner with my dads side of the family! We finally ended up at home.. with the dogs and slept off our food comas and woke up and went and had our last Thanksgiving meal with my Momma!! :) I love all the food and family time!! It is so much fun! Jett did SO WELL and didn't get fussy or anything! :) all together it was a wonderful Thanksgiving!

10 Months Old!

We are TWO months away from the big FIRST BIRTHDAY! This is CRAZY to me... I honestly don't know where all this time has gone. But on a real note, little man has changed more this month than any other I think! He is definitely moving and is a wild little boy! I am so excited for all the new things happening but at the same time I am sad that he is growing so fast and all those "baby" qualities are slowly disappearing. It is for sure a bittersweet time! Anywho.. on with the Stats!

10 Month Old Stats--

>Jett started CRAWLING! It is not crazy at the moment, he almost forgets he knows how and then remembers again every day. HA!
>He started pulling up a couple of days ago!
>He started sitting up on his own from his belly.. I know he should have been doing this a long time ago. BUT Jetton does things on his own time! :)
>He wears size 12-18 Month clothes
>He is in size 4 diapers still
>He eats 3 meals a day and has slowly stopped taking as many bottles
>He no longer fits in his swing :(
>He enjoys holding onto your fingers and walking
>Jett LOVES all toys now!
>Being outdoors is his FAVORITE
>Any dog he thinks should be his best friend! He has even started barking like the dogs...
>he "gives kisses" and makes a Mmmmm noise! << This will melt your heart
>Jett weighs 20.14 lbs.
>He says "uh-oh" "mama" "dada" and a million other baby words haha!
>Dancing is a fun thing to do- to any type of music! (Church Hymns, rap, country, commercial jingles...seriously any!)
>He takes a good morning nap every day! around 2-3 hours!! 
>Still not sleeping through the night. :( I am having a hard time doing the "cry it out" method.... it breaks my heart!
>Any type of water... Jett loves and thinks he should be IN IT! :O
>He is really into all the Christmas decor! Something that makes me EXCITED!
>Jetton also is liking sippy cups!! YAY!

This is all I can think of for now! Side note-- The new mini ipad commercial came on just now and Jett stopped what he was doing to look and dance.. GAH I LOVE this boy!!

Halloween 2012

Halloween was SO MUCH FUN! Jetton was an owl! He racked up on the presents... We "trick or treated" but really we just drove Jett around to friends and families houses.. He liked it though! He was an owl and actually didn't mind the costume to much! Our last stop my dads and we got to see Olivia! It was a blast so now onto he pictures. :):)

We also went to Boo at the Zoo with Olivia last Monday! It was fun... But cold-- Jett was a little young BUT we we will definitely do it each year. :):)
