Daffodil Festival 2013

Every year for about 2 weeks a Methodist Church up in Wye Arkansas has a festival where all the daffodils they planted bloom. It is gorgeous, so of course we used this time for a photo shoot! Allison, Eric and Olivia went up and Matthew, Jett and I joined them. Of course we were late and Olivia was pretty  much done with the pictures but we got a few REALLY cute ones. There is not a whole lot to say about it really. lol its a mountain covered in flowers. Grandad and Tutu surprised us and came for a little while too! It was a fun morning and it helped that the weather was AMAZING! It definitly made me really ready for some spring weather! Jett loved it, of course it was outside.. and He really liked the flowers. :)

1st Birthday!

WOW! I am SOOO behind.. Oh well better late than never! :) Jett's first birthday was AMAZING! His true birthday 2-2-13 fell on a SATURDAY! What better day to celebrate?! We gave him a huge birthday party that was circus themed.. It was more for me than anyone I think. CAN YOU BELIEVE HE IS ONE!?!?!? IT was a blast, we had a clown named Flutter.. she was a little scary Haha. We also had pony (horse) rides! :O We ate cake and ice cream yummy food and just enjoyed the time with family and friends! Jett loved it. He wouldn't ride the horse unless cousin Olivia was on it with him. He did really well with flutter for a while then she started to creep him out and he didn't want to have anything to do with her after that! lol He liked his cake but didn't love it. By the time we got to cake and presents he was a little overwhelmed and wasn't so sure about it all. All in all his friends showed up and he played and really had an amazing birthday party!

Decorating and Christmas Pictures

If ya'll know me, you know how much I LOVE Christmas time! So it's no surprise my house was decorated the day after Halloween... :) Jett really liked watching me do all of it and watching the glitter and lights. He even "helped" me a little when it came to making wreaths for my  Nana. We also went with Aunt Al and Olivia to take some Santa Claus pictures.. They are PRICELESS! O helped decorate the Christmas tree and she was too much fun! I can't wait for next year when Jett is about that age.. :) My group of friends, Trey, Jessie, Zach and Taylor all go to Motley Tree Farm and actually cut down their Christmas Tree.. I decided this sounded fun so me and Jett tagged along! Not only do you cut down your tree, they have a petting farm and pig races. A shop with fudge and free hot chocolate. It was so much fun! We all decided to start our own new tradition and continue to do this! It was a blast!! And then on to my favorites.. Jessie came over and we had a Christmas photo shoot for our Christmas cards... These are the best pictures I have EVER seen!!! I hope ya'll all enjoy!

Toad Suck Daze and Stuck on a Truck 2012

Well Toad Suck has come and gone.. It was a lot of fun being able to take Jett to his first ever Toad Suck Daze Festival! :) It was even more fun because Daddy, (Matt) was Stuck On A Truck. That is a competition put on by Centennial Bank. 25 Contestants are drawn over a few weeks and they all stand around with at least one hand always on the truck. It can go on for days. The contestants get a 5 minute break every hour and a 15 minute break ever six hours. It was so incredibly hot this year.. The winner stood on the truck for 77 hours.. Thats over 3 days! Matthew made it for 28 hours.. his feet were hurting him to badly. But we are ok with that- we would rather him be at home hanging out with us anyways.. :) Jetton did SO good. Like I said before, it was soo hot. But Jett hung out and slept in his stroller. Aunt Allison kept him for a long time on the first day, but then the second day he spent the whole time with me out there! We went every day and walked around and ATE! Haha.. You always have to have lemonade and a corn dog.. Also a frozen chocolate covered banana. :)
