Branson 2013

We got to go to Branson with some friends who have a little plane! It was so much fun- we didn't do a whole lot so it was just relaxing.. We ate, drank and shopped a little! Lol they have a daughter who is a week older than Jett! However Jett is larger... And kind of a bully. He liked hitting her... :( we are still working on this situation. BUT it was her first time flying and Jett's first time in a little plane... SO we experienced a lot in a short amount of time. It all worked out (thankfully) the babies were great. Since Jett's birthday is so soon... we decided that in honor of it we should take him and build his first build-a-bear! He didn't fully understand it obviously but he picked the heart, stood on the stuffer button. Helped pick out the bear and even picked out a football for it! Not to mention both Matthew and I were there so it's even more special! It's the little things that make life fun... :)

Getting ready to take off, way to much to look at to smile for the camera.

Kinleigh (his first girlfriend) and Jett infront of the fountain!

Destin 2012

Ok.. Better late then never!! We went to Destin Florida with my dad and sister back in July! It was a lot of fun and thank goodness we have a good little traveler!! We stayed for 4 days and packed as much as we could into the trip! Jett got to experience sand (again) it went a lot better this time even though he tried to eat it... Olivia loved the ocean and sand. It was so cute! She would just run into the ocean with no fear at all! And for some reason she loved belly crawling in the sand.. It made me even more excited for next year with Jett at the beach! All in all it was a wonderful trip and I am glad we are blessed and get to share these memories with our family!!

The Cayman Islands

Wow... I am SO behind. SOO sorry!! Anyways.. We went to the Cayman Islands with Matthew's family for Jetton's first trip to the Beach. (I know.. What a place to go!) It was a blast!! This was my second time there and it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Jett was an ANGEL. We left on a Monday morning at 4 am and he just slept. Once at the airport and through security (yuck) we only had a few minutes and we boarded. Jett literally slept the entire time. even through the layover in Atlanta and then the second plane ride!! He is such a sweet baby! We landed around noon, so we had half the day to enjoy! Jett loved the pool, he loves it at home so I wouldn't expect any less. He did good on the beach it was just hot, and he couldn't really see because it was SO bright. He did great during the day and even slept amazingly at night. I told Matthew he did so good, that we should just move there!! I seriously think he napped and slept better there than he does at home! He sat in the sand... and face planted.. :( He didn't love the sand in his face, but he did like sitting in it. He swam in the ocean and pool! He loved both! We went shopping in the downtown area and he enjoyed himself at Margaritaville. :) The trip was wonderful! I wish we could go back more often. The water there is so pretty and it is just peaceful.. mainly because we can't have our phones turned on.. lol
Now on to the PICTURES!

Spring Break

Well it is "kinda" our spring break. Since I am no longer in school and Matthew works we can just pretend we have a spring break haha! Well my dad, brother sister and Olivia all went to the lake house along with both of my aunts all my cousins and my grandmother! It was the first time in forever we have all had the same spring break and could actually get together. It also happened to be Teresa's birthday, so we got to celebrate that while all up there!! My dad cooked a great dinner and my sister made an AMAZING dessert. It was SO much fun to get to have a chill day at the lake house with all of the family!! :) I am so sad though, I didn't get a picture of Jett with the birthday girl.. I'll have to get one very SOON!!

Aunt Lisa and Faithe! I cheated this picture was actually taken a couple weeks ago at my dads house, but they both were at the lake too!! :)

Nap time with daddy! This is SUCH a cute picture.. it melts my heart!

Getting lots of love and snuggles in from Aunt Karen! This was her first time meeting Jetton.. He LOVED her!

Spring Break 2011

Better late than never right?!

Over spring break, in March, Matthew and I went to San Diego with his mom, step-dad, sister and her friend! It was a lot of fun! We did SO many things. The only downer was that it was pretty chilly and RAINED like crazy. All the locals told us they NEVER get rain like that and it would probably be all the rain they got for the YEAR?! Either way, we didn't let it slow us down. We went and toured a Navy air craft carrier. I didn't know this but there is a HUGE Navy base in San Diego. It was really fun and we got to do this stimulator, where you feel like your in a cockpit of a fighter jet and flip and move all over the place. I swear me and Matthew got STUCK upside down. We shopped a lot! That's always fun- haha We also went to the Zoo. It was the BEST zoo I have ever been to! They have all kinds of animals the typical zoo doesn't have, like koalas and penguins and panda bears! My aunt who lives in Los Angeles and her fiance road the train down and spent the night so we could have dinner and catch up. It was awesome to get to spend time with them! (to bad I didn't take any pictures with her!) During the last full day we rented a car and drove up to Mission Beach and Hermosa to see the "famous" Sea Lions. It was so neat to see them in the wild just going about their business. HA!

Here we are on the Navy Aircraft Carrier! It was actually really interesting and fun! Those poor sailors sleep in the TINIEST little spaces- and that is their ONLY personal space for the months and months they are on the ship. I honestly don't think I could make it!

The view from our room- It was beautiful! We had such a nice room also. It was at the Hard Rock Hotel in the Gas Lamp district. It was walking distance to pretty much everything! It was so modern and clean. I LOVED it.

We were walking down the pier on the second day and I just HAD to take a picture of this boat in the bay because it was named after our "baby" Millie Grissom haha! It was to cute!

This is the Giraffe that gave birth. It was so neat! We stopped by this exhibit as the last one, it was hot and we were SO tired, but I am so glad we stopped. We stood there and watched this momma give birth to her baby! SO COOL. This was a few minutes after and the baby had started to move around a little bit.

The pandas! So neat and cuddly looking-They have 4 total that they would rotate in the 2 outdoor spaces. You have to wait in line and go in a single file line to look at them. The pandas are so sensitive and the whole reason they are in the zoo is for breeding purposes so they don't become extinct. The zoo makes it top priority to keep them happy!

This polar bear was so much fun. He kept "posing" for pictures and make the cutest faces. I could have stood there and watched him the whole day. He was such an entertainer!

This is on our way to Hermosa, I think this is at Mission Beach, but I'm not 100% sure. Either way it was SO pretty!

Here are just some of the TONS of sea lions that just lay around and sleep on the rocks in Hermosa. It was really a neat sight- The rocks were completely covered. There were 100's of them. All over the place. They would dive off the rocks and swim around for a while, or go off to the deep ocean. Really cool to see them in their natural environment.

That pretty much sums up our trip! It was SO much fun and I can't wait to blog about the next adventure we go on. They are also so interesting and you never really know what to expect- I LOVE traveling with Matthew, he's a great travel buddy. :)
